The Role System
Every Gem Grab team needs three roles: a Gem Carrier (stays mid, collects gems — use tanks or supports), an Aggro (pushes lanes, gets kills), and a Support (controls area, heals or zones). Pick your role before the match starts.

Gem carriers need survivability — Pam, Gene, and Poco work well. Aggro players need burst damage — Mortis, Max, and Leon are strong. Check the current win rates by mode to see what's meta.

Control the center of the map where gems spawn. Don't overextend — if your team has 10 gems, fall back and play defensively. The countdown only starts when your team holds 10+ gems, so protect your gem carrier.
When to Push & When to Retreat
Push when you have a numbers advantage (2v3 or 3v2). Retreat immediately when your gem carrier dies. Never chase kills when your team already has 10 gems — play the countdown.
